What a treat by Robert Altman, well done. Based on storyteller, humorist, and radio personality Garrison Keillor's program that is still going strong.

Two negative comments complained because there was no plot - OF COURSE there wasn't because it's not that kind of movie and that's also why it can be enjoyed over & over for the sheer joy of it! Even the caste had fun!!

I loved every minute of it hundreds of times. The music and sweetness of innocent times calmed and charmed.

Boring. I turned it off in 15 minutes. I don't like movies that are created on demand. They present many stars but there is no space for them. And usually don't have a plot whatsoever.

I have this movie in my home collection and I think it is one of the best.
It is a great time spender for one who wants to spend a quiet night at a movie.
