My friend and I read this book to each other via phonecall ("audiobook club"), and it was such a fun, heartwarming experience diving into each girls' storyline. It got us to remember that strange time between girlhood and adulthood. …

I tried reading this before but since I love the movie so much, the book didn't interest me at all. It's so different from the movie and honestly that bothered me. I tried to separate the two but it was extremely difficult. In short, I…

While this series presents a positive model of female friendships, it comes off as somewhat contrived and one-dimensional. Despite this, many girls will likely enjoy the multiple storylines and the magical element of the jeans.

This is a great story of friendship, love, loyalty and having your best friends-- sisters-- at your side through it all. This is a real cheeky read and you will love it!
A great read, very simple and realistic, with flowing prose and shifting narration. The book has a very nostalgic feel to it, and is reminiscent of childhood, as the four friends share a summer apart that both threatens and strengthens…

An enjoyable light read - perfect for summer. I'd recommend this book for girls in their teens and twenties. If you are older than that and you might think their worries and concerns are over dramatized.
The sisterhood of the traveling pants was a novel filled with secrets, summer, jobs, boys and most importantly, friendship. The book takes place in several places including Oia, Greece; Baja California, Mexico; South Carolina; and…
