Over the years, I had several opportunities to read the Black Stallion books, particularly when I was in grade school since my sister had the whole series. I've read the first few books a couple of times. I don't think I ever read them in order, so this time I am doing that. I have only read The Black Stallion, The Black Stallion Returns, Son of the Black Stallion, The Black Stallion and Satan, and The Black Stallion's Ghost before that I can remember. This time, I am trying to read my way through the series. So far, I have read The first three book, and just finished this book for the first time. I really enjoyed it and regretted skipping it before.
