"Once upon a time, there was a woman who discovered the had turned into the wrong person."

Comment
Add a CommentA reflective read for women who question their identity and role as a wife and a mother, and wonder what might have been had they chosen differently.
Rebecca Davitch, a 53 year old grandmother, can no longer be content just being the heart and soul of her extended family. She sets out to recover her girlhood self and in so doing presents the reader with one gently humourous episode after another. Specially recommended for--but not restricted to--the over 50 mothers amongst us.
Not as good as other books written by her. Does ring true, though, about not being satisfied with your life, and thinking by going back to what might have been, might have been better. Not!
This is a wonderful story. Even though there is an age difference between me and the main character I could relate to her thoughts and feelings.
Good story about a lady who wonders what it would have been like if she chose to go down a different fork in the road at some time in her past. Great characters and a nice believeable and entertaining story.
