This sounds like an interesting book but I could not get back the offenses of the first chapter. The character introduces herself as a boot strapper who has gotten enough education to be a part of the elite. Meanwhile she rips into older women who have money and have had to shape themselves into what society expects of them, and helps them keep position. Seems like that kettle calling the pot black. Yuck yuck yuk kkkk
