What your 10 y.o can expect to read/learn in this book beside lying to his/her parents whenever he thinks he is in trouble without any sense of responsibility or common sense?

Here are couple of examples:

"I thought about why the Boissonault brothers always liked looking at the women's underwear section of the Sears catalog" pg. 35

The discussion about the feminine pads I found inappropriate in a book for this age group. pg 96

The book is not funny, it is obsolete with its ongoing fights between French and Anglais and "Chinamen" with their "eyes that are always closed" been the common enemy to pick on by both French and Anglais.

Not for a 10 y.o. and too infantile and uninteresting for an older child.

I liked this book as well as the Graffiti Ghoul, the next one in the series, however the ending was terrible and had to read it three times before I could make sense of it.
