Add a CommentIn this book there is an inexplicable attraction to read it without stopping.
That what happened with me. Some kind of repulsive, but at the same time, attractive magic, is felt even starting with a look at the cover of the book.
Not being a connoisseur of true historical events and characters described in the book, I can confidently say that Madame Zee, as she presented in the book, is a suffering, insightful, intelligent,
going ahead of her time, women. That's just a pity that she
does not believe in herself and often falls under the influence of those who, claiming good intentions, lead her and others like her, to commit many errors,
sometimes quite repulsive in its content.
This was an interesting book that had its start in a real person but was developed further from fiction. It provided a small look at an unknown piece of Canadian history.
