Another excellent effort from Deaver that pits a brilliant criminal against the beloved criminologist. There are several twists and turns and a devious ending that would be a spoiler to give away so I'll zip my lips. Well worth the read - it will keep you hopping like the Energizer bunny.
Three quarters (maybe halfway) through this book I was under the impression that I was reading to a glorified Law and Order episode.
Then came the ending(s). I tell you, this book must have at least 5 "false endings"! It just kept twisting again and again---entertaining, I admit, but also somewhat exhausting.
This is a particularly twisty addition to the Lincoln Rhymes series. I really admire how Jeffery Deaver can weave these intricate story lines into one coherent (and fun to read!) novel. Looking forward to picking up the next one in the series.
after the bone collector, this is now another favorite of mine. definite recommend.
