SummaryAdd a Summary
Amazing. Goes over her routine from arriving through leaving at her Nana and Poppy's house. No major conflicts. Interracial grandparents and parents. Heteronormative on the last page, where the protagonist wonders who the "Poppy" will be when she's a Nana and hopes he plays harmonica like hers does.
The kitchen window at little girls Nanna and Poppy’s home is a window of magic to her. This is a story told trough both the eyes, and voice of a little girl. The book shows the love her grandparents have for her, and the adventure both her and her grandparents go on everyday with the magic window.

“Sometimes Poppy says in a real loud voice, HELLO, WORLD! WHAT HAVE YOU GOT FOR US TODAY?” The kitchen is where Nanna and Poppy are most of the time. So you can climb up on the flower barrel and tap the window.” Just before I go up to bed, Nanna turns off all the lights and we stand by the window and say good night to the stars.”
