It's not easy being Princess Rose, avoiding all sharp objects and then pricking your finger anyway, causing you to slumber for a hundred years or so. And it isn't any easier being the Prince, especially when your mother has some ogre blood and tends to chow down at the most unfortunate moments. Can these two live happily ever after?

@chocoicecream16 I agree. I had no idea how No.1 was going to end! (Really exciting!) I'm currently on Beauty and the Beast...to be honest, I think the 1st book was the best, but I'll update my comment once I finish the book.

I find the ending sad. The letters from her parents is just heartbreaking. Good retelling though. And a lot of humour. Reccomend for fairytale buffs.

This book was just average. Nothing really stood out except the overall creativity of the storyline (even though the pace leaves much to be desired). I plan to read Beauty and the Beast next.
