The story takes place in 1928 Scotland where 17 year old Aggie decides to move to Toronto with her sister to help out her family and seven siblings. There she meets many friends, gets a job as a domestic servants and learns all about the city life that awaits her in Canada.This is a great story of love, hardship and family.
