I've read other Daisy Dalrymple books and they're ok for cozy mysteries but Bloody Tower I didn't enjoy so much. I found it had an excess of Tower of London geography; I found "this door, that door" these stairs, those stairs" etc somewhat confusing, good thing there is a map provided but it's distracting to always have to refer back. Also the more I read of this series the more Alec gets on my nerves. He's very condescending to Daisy and she's a true snooping busy body. I think that will be the last Daisy Dalrymple book I'll read.
