I thought this would be a lot better than it was.

Wasn’t expecting too much from this movie and was pleasantly surprised. The humour is for the most part tasteful (nothing too offensive looking for a laugh) and doesn’t drag on for too long.

I think the most surprising part about this movie is that it wasn't written by a woman.

I really love Jason Segel and Paul Rudd, and usually can't get enough of them acting together. I'm not sure why this didn't do it for me, but I mostly found this flick unfunny and unwatchable. I didn't even see it through to the end, it was just so blah.

I was gonna rate this a 3, but seeing Jason Siegel in yet more Hollywood stuff takes off half a star. Is Siegel supposed to be a "charming" actor? because I've never found him to be funny in anything on tv or big-screen.

This is a light hearted take on the French movie "My Best Friend." It's nicely different and well worth seeing.

Good solid, a little raunchy, comedy. Has a realistic look at male relationships. As a Rush fan I enjoyed the 'brotherhood' aspect of being a fan, and the concert scenes (looks like me playing air drums!)

A buddy comedy with observations of our world, instead of observations from 150 other buddy comedies. It's about a man who relates best to women, but the females are kept in the background, with few funny lines. Wait till you see the hi-larious scene about why you shouldn't play sports with women. What, no women drivers? The charm of Rudd, Segal, and the supporting actors pulls this film over the rough spots.

Jason Segel and Paul Rudd have great friendship chemistry. Funny movie, though a little crude at times :)

Paul Rudd and Jason Segel are funny in this movie, but for some reason it does not click with me as it does with countless others. The cast is very well assembled: Jon Favreau is hilarious, Jaime Pressly is comical, Rashida Jones is delightful, and Lou Ferrigno is Lou Ferrigno. Despite the wonderful cast, the movie itself is merely mediocre. However, I'm sure that it's just me because I can definitely see why many people adore I Love You, Man.

Paul Rudd and Jason Segel are great in this movie. The plot line is a bit predictable, but this movie is also smart and funny. And that's what comedy movies are all about. More than just attracting a few laughs, this film makes us think that even though it may seem hard to make new friends after we're grown ups, there is no secret recipe to do it, but a cliché: "just be yourself". I would highly recommend this movie, especially to people that love raunchy humor.

Sydney Fife: Wait, you jerked off to a picture of your own girl friend? You - that - wow, that is sick! Oh my God, what is *wrong* with you?
Peter Klaven: What's wrong with that?
Sydney Fife: Pedro, there is so much wrong - I don't even know where to begin... That is sick, man!

Sydney Fife: You get home safe, Pistol.
Peter Klaven: You got it, Joben.
Sydney Fife: I'm sorry, what?
Peter Klaven: Er... nothing.
Sydney Fife: No, what did you say?
Peter Klaven: Nah, I don't know... You nicknamed me Pistol, and I just called you... "Joben"... It means nothing... I don't... I'm drunk... I'm gonna call a cab.

Peter Klaven: So what do i do? How do i make friends?
Robbie Klaven: If you see a cool looking guy, strike up a conversation and ask him on a man date.
Peter Klaven: Ok.
Robbie Klaven: You know what i mean?
Peter Klaven: No.
Robbie Klaven: Casual lunch or after work drinks. You're not taking these boys to see The Devil Wears Prada.
Peter Klaven: Ohhhh god i love that movie. No I wont.
