While I really enjoyed Everlost, I didn't feel like this book added much to the series. We end up mostly where we started (but on a somewhat larger scale), and many of the characters got less sympathetic and therefore less likable. (There was one exception, but the main characters were separated out so our time was divided between them and there wasn't much time spent with this exception.)

The overall concept is still interesting and different enough that I'll finish the trilogy but, at this point, I'd say to just read the first book.
