Saw this in the theater back in the day. This is not the worst movie I have seen, but it is the most over-hyped, by an enormous margin. The plot concept is not original and does not generate tension for those of us who have seen this plot or a similar plots in movies, before. The acting is generally good and the computer graphics are well done. If you want to have Nolan genuinely blow your mind, check out Memento, instead.

Very hard to follow, and a bit crazed. Couldn't sit & enjoy ... had to speed through it, missing big chunks just to see the ending.

Inception is a movie that started strong & fizzled. Too much oppoping in out of people dream states. This movie lacked continuity. I found it hard to follow.

Amazing movie. I was skeptical when I saw the trailer, but I was wrong!

I loved the concept of layered dream realities and a personal token to ground you, although in practice that likely wouldn't work. This is a well-crafted film with enough nuances to make you think and to warrant re-watching. If you are looking for something with a similar theme, Netflix released Infinity Chamber on a low budget in 2017 ... it starts slow and the similarity is not immediately obvious though.

Hands down my favourite film out of all the films that I have watched! Everything is so memorable about Inception, the plot, action, cast and score to name just a few. The ending is absolute perfection! There is truly nothing like it in cinema!

This movie has one of the best story lines out of any movie I have seen. Christopher Nolan is my favorite director. It features Leonardo DiCaprio and returners of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Hardy, and Cillian Murphy which have been in other films of Nolan's. I rate this a five, on a 1 to 10 scale I would rate this around a 9.2

This movie is extremely original and captivating, which forces you to pay attention to every little detail and even re-watch it twice. Cobb is a thief with the special ability to enter people’s minds through their dreams to uncover the most secret and personal of information. After some mishaps in former plans, he is given a new opportunity to pull off implanting a thought into someone else’s mind. The cinematography of this movie is astounding and the special effects will have you questioning reality. I would rate this movie 5/5 for its fascinating storytelling and recommend it to those with attention to detail and an imaginative mind.

Arguably one of the best works of Christopher Nolan, this movie is so complex that even after watching it several times it's just as convoluted as before. Starring an incredible cast with Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Tom Hardy and others. All set to the background film score of Hans Zimmer's famous 'Time'. Dom Cobb and his team are tasked with placing an idea into the mind of a businessman's rival to give up his company. This sci-fi thriller event makes the audience question reality, but all Cobb wants is to reunite with his family. I would recommend this mind-bending movie to anyone who would appreciate this kind of dedication.

One of the best science fiction movies. Great cast, great special effects. If you do not pay attention, then the script will seem complicated, I suppose. We have all heard the rumours, anything advanced, such as "future" technology shown in the movies, is withheld from the public for at least 20 years or longer. Does the mind technology in INCEPTION [or Dreamscape (1984),Dennis Quaid] exist today? If it does, it would explain a lot and maybe the people locked up in mental institutions weren't crazy after all.
I think this is the first movie I seen that has shown waking up in a dream, inside of a dream, inside of a dream, etc., and each time you still think it feels like "real life".
