Episode 10: 60/70's jazz moves into separate 'schools', like Miles Davis' fusion recordings.
Good music and commentary - typical of Ken Burns.
There are ten DVD disks to Jazz by Ken Burns, so I only want to hit the highlights. It was wonderful to see Chicago and see where Louis Armstrong grew up. The New York City Jazz scene was alive and kicking with both music and dance. There is actual video of the Cotton Club at the height of its popularity. As with all Ken Burns documentaries, its informative and entertaining. Music fans this is for you!
