This was one of the best audiobooks that I've listened to. I enjoy YA fiction. This was a solid listen. I can't really find fault with it. It was written in a unique manner that adapted well to audiobook and captured the experiences and voices of the characters well. It held my attention and moved along nicely.

I listened to this book, the narrator was very good and captured the character well. It was very funny but had some major coming of age in it too.

I prefer books with fewer words like "suck" and the other that rhymes with it. Descriptions of high school cliques in the early chapters are mildly amusing, but I did not care enough about Greg, Earl or the dying girl enough to listen beyond the first CD and a chapter into the second. It probably appeals more to boys than girls.

An entertaining and emotional read (or, well, listen). I was occasionally less than excited by the author's efforts to come off as teen-y in his expressions ( "I wanted to shoot angry bees at my head.") but it usually worked for me and made me laugh. The ending is heavy, but it's a sneaky kind of heavy where you're feeling verklempt before you notice it. Good reader for the audiobook.

Interesting book that provides great insights into the upper high school experience.
