What was most important to me was the story of the South African Truth and Reconciliation Commission hearings. The story of a black journalist and a white Afrikaans' relationship was rather distracting from the power of what Nelson Mandela did to heal a nation. Powerful and moving thing that Mandela did. What a legacy he left us with.
