Also there are a number of other books of Maude Barlow that are worth the read. Too close for comfort, Canada's Future within Fortress North America which explains just how complicated it is for the us to protect our water.
We all need to be pressuring the present government to REINSTATE the laws protecting our lakes, rivers and streams, laws that were stripped away by the conservatives for, of course, the convenience of the private sector business community.

The latest from activist and author Maude Barlow.
Barlow is probably the most famous water activist in the world. She has received acclaim here and internationally for her work in bringing attention to the water crisis.
Barlow documents how our water is being destroyed at an unprecedented rate by fracking, industrialization by the big Corporations, privatization, Government neglect etc.
As well as 'sounding the alarm', Barlow also offers solutions that can work.
Read this book and take action, we need to protect water from those who would destroy it.
Access to clean water is a human right-without it we all die.
Water is life!
