Big ugly tears! I've read the book, knew what to expect, but still. I think they did a great job turning Me Before You into a movie.

I thought this had the potential for being an overly sweet romance, where they live happily ever after. Instead, I found it inspiring me to live my life with a smile and to encourage others.

As a paraplegic with not those kinds of issues ( am self sufficient) see this movie very realistic and Lou 's decision rational . I see many people with severe disability , with chronic pain and lots of troubles and a costly life who cheat themselves that We are blessed , God loves us and crazy things like this . In my case , If I come to the situation to need people to handle me , my decision should be the same . Life with dignity and death with dignity too .
Strongly recommend to people with disability .

True to the book -- well done. It loses nothing from the novel. Well cast, directed, and shot. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed this lovely romance movie. It touched my heart and my soul. Beautiful story and actors. Original, pleasant to watch for Louisa Wardrobe typical to young generation, with her zest of life and great sensitivity for life , no matte what. worth while to spent an evening to see.

An adaptation that truly captures the spirit of the book. I guess every generation needs its teary, disease-of-the-week romance that leaves its audience all uplifted. However, Me Before You is not only a poorly written melodrama, but also preys on the fears of its able-bodied viewers. The author heavily hints disabled people live useless, sexless lives, and that for them, suicide is a choice, even THE choice. Her characters may say "no, no!", but the whole slant of the story says "yes, yes!" Before wasting your time with the movie or the book it is based on, please watch the attached video with a disabled man's review. Oh, and Emilia Clarke can't act.

DVD titled “Me Before You” gives the viewer a comedic portrayal of the trials involved in caring for a quadriplegic. Actress Emilia Clarke (who made her debut into television and movies in 2009) gives an amazing and hilarious performance as Lou, an inexperienced individual who takes on the challenges of serving as a hired caregiver to Will (played Sam Claflin), a former Banker left paralyzed after a collision with a motorcycle. Will has always been well grounded and Lou is quirky with no sense of direction for her future. You must watch to see how this unlikely union comes together.

The Ultimate Reviewer must be the Church Lady from SNL. Who gives away the ending in a review Duah!!! I admit the first time I watched this movie I wasn't too happy. However, there's something about it that keeps me watching it over and over again. I love this movie!

What a depressing movie. The ending couldn't have been worst. Contains strong sexual content and profanity. Not at all recommended.

The film somewhat glossed over Will's complicated drug regimen, from the book part 1 of 2:
‘It’s not hard. He mostly knows what he needs. But he might need a little help getting them down. We tend to use this beaker here. Or you can crush them with this pestle and mortar and put them in a drink.’ I picked up one of the labels. I wasn’t sure I had ever seen so many drugs outside a pharmacy. ‘Okay. So he has two meds for blood pressure, this to lower it at bedtime, this one to raise it when he gets out of bed. These he needs fairly often to control his muscular spasms – you will need to give him one mid-morning, and again at mid-afternoon.

The film glossed over Will's complicated drug regimen, from the book part 2 of 2:
He doesn’t find those too hard to swallow, because they’re the little coated ones. These are for bladder spasms, and these here are for acid reflux. He sometimes needs these after eating if he gets uncomfortable. This is his antihistamine for the morning, and these are his nasal sprays, but I mostly do those last thing before I leave, so you shouldn’t have to worry. He can have paracetamol if he’s in pain, and he does have the odd sleeping pill, but these tend to make him more irritable in the daytime, so we try to restrict them. ‘These –’ he held up another bottle ‘– are the antibiotics he has every two weeks for his catheter change. I do those unless I’m away, in which case I’ll leave clear instructions. They’re pretty strong. There are the boxes of rubber gloves, if you need to clean him up at all. There’s also cream there if he gets sore, but he’s been pretty good since we got the air mattress.’

Tons of quotes in IMDb already like this gem:

Every time I speak, he looks at me like I'm stupid.
-To be fair, you are pretty stupid.
Yeah, but he doesn't know that yet.
