An interesting documentary, that gave some insight into Tesla's life. For an in depth look I would recommend "Wizard The Life and Times of Nikola Tesla : Biography of A Genius"
By Seifer, Marc J.

If you've heard of Nikola Tesla but know little or nothing about him, this is a very good introduction. If you know him well, you'll learn nothing new here. This documentary is not without problems. First, the narrator keeps mispronouncing his name by emphasizing the wrong syllables. Second, the documentary puts zero context into the Mars subplot thus making Tesla seem a loon. The context was this: At the time Tesla claimed to have intercepted signals from Mars, the red planet was all the rage. Mars Mania was the thing. Astronomer Percival Lowell claimed to see canals on Mars and the world went nuts about Martians. Naturally, Tesla thought the signals were from Mars. The documentarians say nothing of this which is important. Also important is the fact they don't bother to investigate what signal, if not from Mars, did he intercept? Radio did not yet exist on Earth so he couldn't have intercepted a local signal. What he may have intercepted was the signals of a neutron star, also known as a pulsar, which emit radio signals. Tesla may have, accidentally, been the first radio astronomer.
