The band's most important album recorded in just eighteen days “Presence” marked a change in Led Zeppelin‘s sound towards more straight forward, guitar based jams, departing from the acoustic ballads of their previous albums. With numerous hit singles and exceptional opening track “Achilles Last Stand”, it’s a return to Hard Rock with a new level of complexity. The album includes more simplified riffs, and features no keyboards, and with the exception of “Candy Store Rock” no acoustic guitar. Magnificent.
