I wish Siri Mitchell had titled this book something else. "Kissing Adrien" is so misleading. I mean, part of the book is about kissing, but the book is NOT some silly romance story! It's so much more than that. It's about lifestyle changes, cultural differences, views on God and religion, views on art and beauty and so much more! This book is absolutely fantastic. There is humour in it, and romance, which is also nice, but there are also deep and philosophical conversations between the two main characters. The sad thing is, I think a lot of people would not bother to read a book like this unless they were looking for some escape fiction romance, because of the title. Don't let the title mislead you - take a chance on it. There is so much in here about France, and the differences between French and American people. The only thing I didn't like was the abrupt ending. It didn't really solve anything. I was left with too many questions about what was going to happen next.
