Although this was admittedly not the most well written, original, or realistic tale, it was a light, funny and enjoyable read. I definitely took Annisa's side in the book, so her narrative was obviously persuasive enough for me to understand. The stereotypical-ness of this book is both why I don't like it, and why I do. The bad: everyone is blonde, cheerleaders are mean, etc, etc. It gets old. The good: a funny and actually pretty realistic account of a girl figuring out what she really wants. Recommended for a nice summer day.
