This was such a bizarre book. The beginning is a bit strange and confusing, but once you get used to the format, it was an interesting read. The story was okay, and the writing was good. The portrayal of teenagers is (sadly) more accurate than some people would like to admit, what with the drinking and hook-up culture that abounds. The poor decisions that define the entire book are just as realistic. My problem with this book is the twist that comes toward the end. It throws the whole book into a swirl of confusion. Maybe a second read-through would help me see the whole story more clearly, but I don't really want to read this book again. The twist was so out of left field that it turns me off of the story. The writing was good, the dialogue realistic, and the mysteries prevalent throughout the whole story. It wraps up in a satisfying way, despite the twist I would recommend this book to young adults who enjoy an odd twist in mystery stories. Definitely written for older teenagers and young adults, as there is a lot of cursing. But overall, the twist just ruined what was an interesting story for me.
