Funny...the movie summary reads as if this were a 'novella' made for HBO...
It speaks not of a [history/period] when
fascism and 'iL' Duce' was on the rise while lives and their allegiances are comprised through a typical village in Italy....not to mention...
the actors cast all do terrific performances.
Where else do you get to see America's [DeNiro], and France's
[Depardieu], performances but also a chance to see Burt Lancaster and Sterling Hayden's
last work.
